User Reports

By: Gregory Hills Published on: March 14, 2023

At Concours Agricole, we strive to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all chatline users. To address bad behavior and prevent people from ruining the experience for others, we send a list of reported callers to the chatline companies we work with for appropriate action.

When to Report a User

Check if any of the cases below apply to your conversation with a user to determine whether you should report them:

  • The caller engages sexually without your prior consent
  • The caller asks for your specific location after an initial conversation
  • The caller asks personal questions that could risk your anonymity
  • The caller makes your experience worse, not enjoyable, and doesn’t communicate well

If any of the above scenarios occurred during your conversation with the user, it’s recommended that you report them.

When not to Report a User

Users may feel uncertain about when to report someone. However, reporting is not necessary in these common cases:

  • The user’s native language isn’t English, making communication difficult.
  • The user lacks confidence and feels intimidated, leading to less fluent communication.
  • The user asks for guidance about the chatline company in a polite manner.

How to Report a User

There are three ways to report a caller.

After ending a conversation.

The easiest way to report a caller is after ending a conversation. By listening to the options provided by the voice prompt, you’ll get to the option of reporting the current caller. Most companies require you to dial #9 on your telephone keypad to report the caller on your last conversation.

Contacting the company customer support.

If you forgot to report a caller, you can contact customer support and share your experience with this person. The customer support service will use an artificial intelligence tool to retrieve the user you had a bad experience with.

Sharing your experience with Concours Agricole.

As mentioned earlier, we regularly send a list of user reports to the chatline companies to take action against those callers ruining the experience for others. To share your experience with us, simply e-mail [email protected] with the subject “User report.”. In this e-mail, include:

  • Your phone number.
  • The approximate time and date you had this conversation.
  • Your bad experience with this person and why he deserves to be blocked from further usage.

What Is It Like for a Blocked User?

If a user is blocked from a chatline service, they can still dial the phone number, but the voice prompt will deny them access. Chatline companies often share a list of blacklisted callers, so if someone gets blocked from one service, it’s likely they’ll also get blocked from other chatline services.
